1 - Account Settings

Configure Your Account Settings

Adding Information

Step 1:

  • Customer Custom Fields are fields that you create to record data on your customer's profile. When you input or edit something on your customer's records, that information will be readily available whenever you create an appointment, such as bedrooms/bathrooms, entry, etc...


Example uses of the Customer Custom Field feature:

  1. Pet's name

  2. Anniversary dates

  3. Irreplaceable Item to avoid

  4. Preferred team/cleaner

  • Since ZenMaid offers the Custom Field Report, adding Customer Custom Fields will help you manage revenue by customers.

Step 2:

  • Appointment Custom Fields are fields that you create to write appointment-specific data. These fields will show up with each appointment you create.

  • You will find your Appointment Custom Fields in the Information tab of an appointment window.

4 - Cleaners

Adding Your Cleaning Team

Adding Information

Step 1:

  • Cleaners are essential, and here are the steps on how to add them to your account.

Step 2:

  • Personalize your cleaners' profiles by adding a cleaner photo.

  • After your cleaners' photos are uploaded into ZenMaid, you can then incorporate your cleaners' photos into an email template using merge fields.

Step 3:

  • In this article, we'll guide you through the practical steps of managing teams, including custom naming options.

  • Learn how to create a team, assign them tasks, and seamlessly add a new cleaner to your existing team.

Step 4:

  • Effortlessly swap out a cleaner from all their assigned appointments with just a few clicks. This feature deactivates the current cleaner, replacing the cleaner with one from the inactive list.

Cleaner Status

  • Learn the process of deactivating and reactivating a cleaner within your ZenMaid account.

  • Recommended: Opt for deactivation instead of deletion when handling cleaners in your ZenMaid account. This ensures that the cleaner's details remain stored in your account.

5 - ZenMaid Calendars

Scheduling On Your Calendars

Adding Information

Step 1:

  • This process outlines how to duplicate an appointment, allowing you to assign different team members, set varied arrival times, establish a second status, or replicate the job on a different day.

7 - ZenMaid Mobile App

ZenMaid Mobile App

Information Overview

Step 1:

  • As an Owner/Manager, you'll enjoy access to the same features as the Cleaner role, with additional privileges, such as:

Access to the Dashboard:

  • This enables you to review comprehensive information about all your customers and cleaners.

Ability to schedule appointments:

  • Whether out of the office or out in the field, the ZenMaid mobile app has you and your office staff covered. It enables quick adjustments to appointments and even appointment creation. For detailed instructions, refer to step 3 of the ZenMaid Mobile App for details.

Step 2:

  • Cleaners should utilize the "Login" section instead of the "Register an Account" section to access the mobile app. Simply log in using the provided email and password.
