This article provides a comprehensive overview of the ZenMaid mobile app's functionalities from a cleaner's perspective.

Log In

  • Cleaners must wait for their employer to provide them with the login details to access the ZenMaid app. In case they created an account before you provided them with login details, contact us at support@zenmaid.com.

They can download the app on their mobile devices through the following links:


In-App

Calendar

  • Once you are logged in, you'll automatically land on the Calendar.

πŸŸͺ Use it to navigate through days. Depending on the account's configuration, you'll be able to see more or less days in the future/past.

πŸŸ₯ The appointments you are assigned will be separated into days and ordered from earliest to latest appointment.

🟨 Use the icons at the bottom to navigate through sections; calendar, notifications, and more.

Appointment details

  • Click on each appointment to see the details.

πŸŸͺ The name of the customer will be on the top of the page.

πŸŸ₯ The date, time, and type of service will be right below the map view.

🟨 The frequency of the appointment, could be one-time or a recurring service.

🟧 The address of the appointment.

🟩 This section includes the following actions:

  • On my way: Cleaners can trigger a text to inform the customer they are on their way to their address.

  • Clock in/out: Cleaners can track the time they spend on each cleaning by using this feature.

  • Notify job complete: Cleaners can trigger a text to inform the customer (and the office) that the cleaning was completed.

πŸŸͺ Appointments can get checklists assigned. Learn more about the feature here.

πŸŸ₯ If the customer selected a specific item to be cleaned, will be listed under the work items.

🟨 Custom fields are created by the account owner and will list additional information for the cleaning as well as the customer fields.

🟦 If the appointment has notes, here you will see them. Cleaners can also leave notes that the office's staff will see later.

🟩 If the cleaner is in the middle of a tense/potentially dangerous situation they can alert their office by using the SOS button. Learn more about this feature here.

Notifications

  • Here you can see all notifications related to the appointments you are assigned to.

More

  • This section includes the profile, where you can change which map app you want to use to open appointment locations, enable or disable push notifications, and log out.

  • Daily route, can be used to see in a map all the locations you are assigned to on that day.

  • Clear cache.
