How to Add Notes in Work Order Emails

Summary

  • Appointment Notes are included in the default template of the Email Work Orders.

  • You can also add Customer Notes to your Work Order Emails. They are added through Variables.


Adding Notes to the Work Orders

  • Click on Settings and then Emails & SMS notifications under Communications.

  • Locate the Work Order Email

  • In the Body section of the template, input the following variables:

    • Notes

    • {{appointment.customer_notes}} -> specific for any note that you placed in a customer

    • {{appointment.notes}} -> specific to the appointment itself
