How to Edit Email and Text Templates

  • Click on the Settings โš™๏ธ icon at the bottom left and in the Communications box, select Email & SMS notifications.

  • Select different templates of emails and texts to edit and send to your customers.

To edit the body of a template:

  • Edits are made just like you would a document. Just click where you want to insert text and type. You can delete any verbiage that does not suit your company too.

  • Texts have limited characters but emails can be as long or as short as you like.

  • The values in the curly {{ }} brackets are variables that tell the system where to put the corresponding information for each appointment. Learn more about variables in this article.

  • To preview an example of what the {{variables}} are pulling, click the Preview button under the body.

  • Select when you want the message to be sent to the customer.

  • In each template tab, you can see what variables are available for that message type by clicking {} Add a variable

  • When you're done editing, do not forget to click the Save Changes button in the bottom right corner.
