Access the email and text templates
To manage the automatic emails and texts you send, you have to go to Settings, which can be located at the bottom left part and is represented by a gear icon.
On the Settings page, under the Communications section, click on Email & SMS notifications.

On the Email & SMS notifications page, you will notice that there are several different templates you can send through ZenMaid. Cleaners communications & Customer communications.
ZenMaid supports two primary methods for sending notifications:
SMS Notifications: These are more immediate and reliable for ensuring time-sensitive information reaches clients quickly.
Email Notifications: A cost-effective alternative to SMS, suited for businesses looking to minimize expenses while maintaining client communication.

Activating/Inactivating an Email/SMS Template
On this page, you have to select the template that you want to manage and click on the Edit button.
Activating a template: To send emails or texts to your customers, please select the desired option based on your preferences.
Deactivating a template: To deactivate a template you must choose 'Never', instead of whatever option it was selected previously.

While an inactive template looks like this: For greater reliability, enabling both SMS and email notifications ensures a backup communication channel for critical updates. Conversely, if cost-efficiency is your priority, using email-only notifications may be the better option.
You must hit the 'Save changes' button; otherwise, your templates will remain unchanged.
Things to consider
Templates can't be activated/deactivated in bulk.
Some templates can't be deactivated, as they are manually triggered.
Some others will have a unique checkbox that can be marked at your convenience so you can send them manually on a case-by-case basis.
Deactivating SMS templates will reduce your text usage.
Opting for email-only notifications can help reduce communication costs significantly while still maintaining effective client communication.
Using both email and SMS notifications provides increased reliability by ensuring there is no single point of failure.
