Here's the explanation of how the Fixed Flat vs Variable Flat rate works for paying your cleaners in ZenMaid.
If you have a cleaner that is paid by Variable Flat rate this means that a different amount is paid for each specific appointment done. For example, if a cleaner is paid a higher rate per job for certain types of cleans like move-in/out.
The Fixed Flat Rate can be used when you have a daily rate for a cleaner too. For example, if a cleaner is paid $100 per day, no matter if they are doing one appointment or 3 appointments daily. For this, you will need to go to Payroll and set the rate for each job manually.
If you have a cleaner who is paid by Fixed Flat rate - each appointment they do, no matter how big or small, is paid the same amount of money. Fixed Flat rates are automatically calculated in Payroll, but that doesn't mean they can't be changed per appointment.
