While ZenMaid sends text message reminders to both customers and cleaners to keep everyone informed and on schedule, direct replies to these messages are not supported. Our SMS provider is primarily designed for one-way communication.
Therefore, when a customer or a cleaner replies to a text sent through ZenMaid the message may not be delivered at all, and even if the message is technically delivered, it's unlikely to be routed back into the ZenMaid system for processing or to reach the intended recipient.
How To Get Replies
While direct replies to your text reminders aren't supported, here's how to minimize clients attempting to respond to messages that won't reach you.
Add a No Reply Warning
You can add a "No Reply" warning at the beginning of your text. You can even use capital letters so clients won't miss it.
Add Your Phone Number
Either using the variable {{appointment.company_phone_number}} or typing your phone number manually.
