What to do if cleaners aren't receiving notifications on their phones?
For your phone, or your cleaners' phones, to make a sound or vibrate when receiving a ZenMaid notification, follow the steps below to ensure that the notifications are properly configured.
Step 1 - Setting Up Your Device Settings
For Androids:
Open your phone's Settings app.
Tap Apps & notifications. Notifications.
Under “Recently Sent,” tap an app.
Tap a type of notification.
Choose your options: Choose Alerting or Silent. To see a banner for alerting notifications when your phone is unlocked, turn on Pop on the screen.
For iPhones:
From the Home screen, navigate: Settings
Now scroll and scroll....and scroll, all the way down to find ZenMaid (way at the very bottom of the app list)
Click the grey arrow to open up ZenMaid and again in Notifications
Allow Notifications should be "ON"
Step 2 - Configuring Your ZenMaid Mobile App Settings

To Note:
On the ZenMaid mobile app, at the bottom of the screen, unread notifications will show up on the bell icon as a red dot.
By clicking on the bell icon, you can remove the red dot.
By clicking on the individual notification (highlighted in blue), you can lower the number within the red circle. The max number that can be displayed within the red circle is “9+”. The number will not change until there are at least 8 unread notifications left.
