How to Delete a Staff Member (Cleaner or Office Manager)

Summary

  • Here's how to delete a former staff member's profile from ZenMaid

  • This also applies if you created a profile by mistake, set one up accidentally, or no longer need it for any reason.

Important

  • Deleting a cleaner will permanently erase their profile, including schedule history and hours worked.

  • Job notes they created will remain in the system, but will show "Deleted Author" as the author.

  • If you want to keep their data on past appointments, such as assignments and clock-in or out times, it's better to deactivate their profile instead.

Accessing A Staff Member's Profile

  • Locate the Cleaner icon and click on All Cleaners.

  • Select the cleaner you want to remove from your ZenMaid account, then click their name to open their profile.


Deleting A Staff Member's Profile

  • On the profile page, click on Actions > Delete

  • You'll get a pop-up warning window, click on OK, and the cleaner will be deleted from your account.
