Adding An Existing Card Processor Account To ZenMaid

If you already have Stripe or Square before signing up for ZenMaid, this tutorial will help you connect the credit card processor to your account.

If you used Square before connecting it to ZenMaid, you will need to import the existing credit cards into ZenMaid with a quick push of a button. Once you connect Square to migrate credit card data, you will click the button "Import Customers" (see below). Once the cards are connected to the customer's profiles in ZenMaid, you will be able to start charging them.


Adding An Existing Stripe Account To ZenMaid

If you used Stripe before connecting it to ZenMaid, plugging in an existing Stripe account with cards on file to ZenMaid will not allow card charging of cards previously on file.

Once you connect Stripe, you will not see cards on file in ZenMaid, which means that you cannot charge the cards since ZenMaid does not have the data connected to the customer's profiles. In order to charge cards, you will need to ask customers for their card numbers again, use a ZenMaid credit card authorization, or send ZenMaid invoices, which collect the cards again.
