Switching Card Processors In ZenMaid

If you have one credit card processor connected to ZenMaid and are switching to another company that we connect to, you will need to have the credit card data migrated.

Here is an example of card data needing migration services:

You are using one credit card processor in ZenMaid and are switching to another. Once you connect the new credit card processor, you will still see cards on file in ZenMaid but, no cards will exist in the new card processor, which means that you cannot charge the cards since the new card processor does not have the data. To migrate credit card data to the new card processor, contact the new card processor's customer support. They will have you export the credit card IDs and add them to the new card processor so that you can start to charge cards.

Ex: you were using Stripe in ZenMaid and are wanting to switch to Authorize.net. Contact Authorize.net customer support so they can migrate the Stripe credit card IDs to Authorize.net. Once the card data is moved over, you can connect Authorize.net to ZenMaid and start charging cards.

Adding An Existing Stripe Account To ZenMaid

(see below for Square & Authorize.net)

If you used Stripe before connecting it to ZenMaid, plugging in an existing Stripe account with cards on file to ZenMaid will not allow automatic card charging.

Once you connect Stripe, you will not see cards on file in ZenMaid, which means that you cannot charge the cards since ZenMaid does not have the data connected to the customer's profiles. In order to charge cards, you will need to ask customers for their card numbers again, use a ZenMaid credit card authorization, or send ZenMaid invoices, which collect the cards again.

Adding An Existing Square or Authorize.net Account To ZenMaid

If you used Square or Authorize.net before connecting it to ZenMaid, plugging in an existing Square or Authorize.net account with cards on file to ZenMaid will not allow automatic charging of cards until you import the card data.

Here is an example of card data needing migration services:

You are using Square or Authorize.net outside ZenMaid and are now wanting to connect it to ZenMaid. Once you connect Square or Authorize.net, you will not see cards on file in ZenMaid, which means that you cannot charge the cards since ZenMaid does not have the data connected to the customers' profiles. To migrate credit card data, you will click the button "Import Customers" (see below). Once the cards are connected to the customer's profiles in ZenMaid, you will be able to start charging them.
