Summary:
Efficient payment processing is key for any cleaning business. ZenMaid’s List View allows you to charge one or multiple credit cards simultaneously, saving time and streamlining billing. This guide will show you how to use this tool to simplify payments and keep your cash flow steady.
Locating Unpaid Appointments
First, make sure that your credit card integration is set up. If not, read this article first:
Finding unpaid appointments using the List View
Once your Credit Card Processor is connected to your ZenMaid account, you can find unpaid appointments by going to Scheduling > List View.
Use the appointment filters to filter out the appointments you want to charge your customers. You can select Unpaid appointments or Unpaid appointments (exclude $0 price) to only view the unpaid appointments with an actual amount in them.
Finding unpaid appointments from the Dashboard
Another quick way to find recent unpaid appointments is by looking on your Dashboard (which is your ZenMaid's landing page) and clicking on Recent Unpaid Appointments.
This will take you to the List View, but with some filters already applied. You can also change these filters to select a wider timeframe
Charging your Customers' Credit Cards
After filtering out the unpaid appointments you want to charge, mark the box of each appointment.
You will notice the Actions button will change to Bulk Actions. Click on it and you will see the option to charge credit cards.
Please note that you can only charge a customer's credit card if you have their credit card information in ZenMaid.
Appointments that have a customer's credit card linked with them will show a credit card icon.
If the Charge Credit Cards option is grayed out, it means that you've selected one or more appointments that you don't have a credit card record for or that you have not connected your Credit Card Processor to your ZenMaid account yet.
