When a cleaner leaves your team, it's essential to efficiently transfer their upcoming appointments to a replacement while deactivating their account.
This article shows you how to streamline turnover by allowing you to reassign the appointments to an existing cleaner or a newly hired one, ensuring a smooth transition and minimizing disruptions in your schedule.
Inactivating and Replacing a Cleaner
From your dashboard, click on Cleaners > All Cleaners.
Select the cleaner you'll be replacing.
Once on the cleaner's profile, expand the top right menu. Click on Actions > Replace <Cleaner name>.
A pop-up window will appear.
Beneath the field Replace <Cleaner Name> with..., you may select:
A new cleaner created using the information below.. option where you would need to enter the new cleaner details such as First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, and Email.
Or you may expand the drop-down menu and select which existing inactive cleaner you'd like to replace the previous cleaner with.
Click on the button Replace <Cleaner Name> with the new cleaner above.
Note that it will deactivate the cleaner that you're replacing while unassigning them from all their future appointments.
