ZenMaid Mobile App Overview for Cleaners

Here's a small overview of the ZenMaid mobile app as a cleaner.

As a cleaner, you will use the "Login" section and not the "Register an Account" section to log into the mobile app using your email and the password that was provided to you.

Calendar

As soon as you open up the app, you will land on the calendar showing all your upcoming appointments using the little calendar button and any days at the top. You can also scroll the appointments and click the tiny arrow to open the appointment up for details.

Appointment details

To check the details of the appointments, click on the appointment you want to see.

The app will try to pull up a Google Street picture from the location of your appointment, that way you know you are in the right place when you arrive.

There's also the date, time, type of service, status of your appointment, and address. To get the directions to the appointment, click the address line under the appointment status. You can notify your client you are on your way or notify your employer when the job is complete.

As a cleaner, you can also leave a note or photo on the appointment, and clock in/out. If you scroll down, you will see the custom fields and work items that need to be completed as well as any notes and photos the office added to the appointment.

On my way

Used to let know your customer how long it will take to arrive at the location. Note that the SMS message preview can only be modified by your office.

Notify job complete

Used to send a notification to your office that the job is completed. This action will not notify the customer unless the SMS is set to do so by the owner/office manager.

Notes & Work Items

All the notes regarding the appointment and/or the customer will be shown here. You can check different item notes regarding your appointment. The app also lists the specific items that have to be cleaned. E.g. Refrigerator, Oven, etc. on the Work Items section.

As a cleaner, you can also leave notes or even upload a picture to the appointment by clicking on + Leave a note

Assigned to

Shows the Cleaners assigned to work on this specific appointment.

Custom Fields

The owner/manager can often add appointment-specific fields. These will be shown here. For example, it could be the client's preferred payment method or if the house includes a balcony.

Customer Fields

Here are the customer-specific fields. Usually informs of how many rooms are to be cleaned in a house, the square footage, or if there are any pets.

Notifications

Here you will see notifications about changes in your appointments

More

Here you can check your Profile and your Daily Route in Google Maps, Waze, or Apple Maps.
