Summary:

  • The Revenue by Contact Custom Field report helps you analyze revenue based on specific customer segments using dropdown-type custom fields.

  • It’s useful for tracking how much revenue is generated by different customer types, sources, or other categorizations you've set up in your dropdown fields.

  • Only Customer Custom Fields set as Dropdown will be available for this report—other field types like text or checkbox are not supported.

  • This article will walk you through how to access, configure, and run the report.

Adding Customer Custom Fields

  • Go to Custom Fields under the Contacts section of your settings

  • This report will only take into account your Customer Custom Fields that are in Dropdown type, so make sure to select that type before adding the options.

  • This means that any other type of Contact Custom Fields (such as Checkbox, Short Text, or Long Text) won't show up when you run your Revenue by Contact Custom Field report.

  • In addition, apply a segmentation with not too many options to make the report readable. Minimize your dropdown options as much as you can so your report will deliver the best results.

Using The Revenue By Custom Field Report

  • To access and run your Revenue by Contact Custom Field report, go to Reports from your ZenMaid dashboard.

  • Find the section Revenue by Contact Custom Field under Marketing and Growth.

  • You can click on How to use for additional details about running the report.

  • On the next page, set the dates by clicking using the From and To fields.

  • Under the For field, click to show options. Again, the options will only show your contact custom fields that are dropdown type.

  • Click on the Run Report button and wait for your report to be generated.
