Summary:

  • This is a step-by-step walkthrough on how to activate the Google Calendar Invite feature on the Appointment Reminder email template.

  • This article will also show you how the feature will appear to your customers.

Part 1 - How To Send A Google Calendar Invite

  • From your ZenMaid Dashboard, go to Settings.

  • Next, head over to the Email & SMS notifications page under Communications.

  • From the Email & SMS notifications page, go to your Appointment Reminder email template under Customer Communications.

  • Once selected, check the tickbox that says "Attach calendar invite to the reminder email?", as shown here:

  • Save your template, and done! Your customers will now receive a Calendar Invite when they receive an Appointment Reminder email from you.

Part 2 - How A Google Calendar Invite Appears

  • When you send the appointment reminder with a calendar invite, this is how it will appear on your customer's end.

Important Information

  • If a customer reports that the Appointment Reminder email shows a different scheduled time than the appointment on your calendar, it could be due to their Google Calendar time zone settings, which may differ from yours.
