Techs Cannot Clock In or Out using Downloaded App

Trouble shooting: Clock in and out button missing from downloaded app

If your techs ever report that they cannot clock in or out from the app because the clock in and out button is missing, here is what you need to do:

1.  In ZenMaid, in the Cleaners menu, ensure that you have given the cleaner access to clock in and out. Even if you previously have, it's wise to double-check to be sure that it hasn't inadvertently been disabled.  

2. Their downloaded app has three icons at the bottom. Have them choose the middle one, GPS tracking. Have the app allow GPS tracking. If that step does not make the clock in/out button appear, go to the next step:


3.  Choose the third icon on the far right, the avatar icon. Have them choose "Google Maps" from the drop-down list, then log out and log back in.  This step should then bring back their clock in/out buttons.

4. Reset App Permissions

Have the staff member log out of the ZenMaid app, close the app from running (do not delete the app), and launch the app fresh to log back in.

To do so, have them click MORE (...) then PROFILE in the app. At the top right will be the LOG OUT button. Close the ZenMaid App by swiping up (or clicking the menu to close the app), reopen it, and log back in to get the latest update.

All permissions, like clock in/out buttons, will show after completing these steps.
