This article will guide you on how to activate and use the Celebrations feature to strengthen relationships and show appreciation

  • Easily track and celebrate customer birthdays, cleaning anniversaries, cleaner birthdays, and hire dates with automated reminders.


Activating Celebration Reminders

To start using the Celebration Reminders feature, go to Settings > Celebration Reminders under Communications. Or, simply click here.

On the next page, you will see the option to turn on Celebration Reminders for:

  • Customers:

    • Birthday Reminders

    • Service Anniversary Reminders

  • Cleaners:

    • Birthday Reminders

    • Work Anniversary Reminders


Managing Celebration Reminders

On the same page, if you scroll down you'll be able to manage the celebrations for your customers and your cleaners.

To edit the dates for your customers or cleaners, you can simply click the pencil icon, or do it on each profile as shown below:


Celebrating Your Customers/Cleaners

The celebrations will only appear on the following views:

  • Calendar View

  • Dispatch View - Weekly Scheduling

  • Dispatch View - Horizontal

  • Dispatch View - Vertical

If you use any other, and you want to celebrate your customers or cleaners, you'll have to visit one of the above-mentioned views once in a while.

The celebration reminders will appear on top of the schedule, in the Tasks section:

To know more about the celebration, click on it and a pop-up window will appear:

If you want to send a nice email to your customer or cleaner, click the email icon and your email app will open a draft email which you can edit at your convenience.

You can customize the email as much (or as little) as you want, and then simply hit the send button!

The process of celebrating your cleaner's anniversary, or a birthday either for a customer or a cleaner is the same, the only thing that changes is the email template used.


Additional notes

  • Celebration Reminders are triggered manually by you. This gives you complete control over when and how they are sent.

  • The email template can only be customized after it has been generated.

  • The customization will have to be for each client as the template cannot be changed for one of yours.
