Summary:

  • Here's how you can apply an amount on one or all appointments in a recurring service.

  • These steps are for appointments that were created after the settings were changed when updating your service fees or tax.

  • Applying a new tax rate change systematically.

  • Applying a price increase/price change systematically.

Accessing The Appointment Financials

  • From your ZenMaid dashboard, go to your Calendar.

  • Click on the appointment you want to apply a price, a price change, tax, a recurring tip, or a discount.

  • On the appointment sidebar to your right, scroll down to see the appointment financials.

Steps For: One-Time Or Individual Appointments

  • To change the Total appointment price, click on the Price line, for example, and add a value.

  • With a value in the pricing box, press ENTER on your keyboard.

To Note:

  • If this is a One-Time appointment, that is all you need to do.

Steps For: Appointments Within A Recurring Service

  • Ensure the amounts are all set correctly, as you will apply the changes to the rest of the appointments in the recurring series.

  • To set the same amount to the recurring appointment, click the Billing actions button and then select Copy financials to all future appointments of this recurring service.

To Note:

  • A notification will then show up saying that the financials have been applied to all future services except for the ones that are already marked as paid.

  • You can also use these steps to remove a price, overcharge, discount, tip, or tax.

  4. Update the tax rate in the appointment financials.

  5. Click the Billing actions button and then select Copy financials to all future appointments of this recurring service if available.

  6. Move on to the next appointment on the same day.

  7. Repeat the process until you find that each new appointment you click on has the new tax rate already applied.
