Here is explained how you can track customers who use a certain discount coupon.

Using Appointment Custom Fields, you can create a field to notate the discount coupon used. Here is how you can create this custom field:

  • From the Setting page (Gear icon on the bottom left corner) go to Appointment custom fields under Scheduling.

  • On the next page, click on +Add appointment custom field.

  • A new window will pop-up for you to create a field to notate the discount coupon used. Use the drop-down method, and list your discount options. See examples in the picture below.

  • Don't forget to hit the Create field button.

Once you have notated each appointment, you can run a report of how much revenue each appointment with a discount generated. To do this, follow these steps:

  • From your Dashboard go to Scheduling and select List View.

  • From there you set your time frame, status, and put customers' discount coupon in the field called and matching.

  • After running this search, you can see a running total under the pink "Show" button.

ADDITIONALLY:

A similar report can also be made using the Customer Custom Fields & the drop-down method. Customer Custom Field can be created the same way as the afore-described Appointment Custom Field. Just make sure you are in the right section of the page.

This report will provide the total that the customer has spent over all of their appointments, regardless of which appointment had a discount applied.

Here is the explanation of where to find the report you might want to run:

  • From your Dashboard go to Reports>All Reports.

  • Find a section called "Revenue by Customer Custom Field".

  • Select the time frame and custom field to be searched for and hit the Run report button.
