How to Turn On/Off Automatic Emails And Texts

Here is a step-by-step walkthrough on how to turn on/off your ZenMaid automated emails and texts.

  • From your ZenMaid Dashboard, go to Settings, located on the bottom left-hand side of your ZenMaid account

  • You will be redirected to Your Settings page, where you can find Email & SMS Notifications

  • From the Email & SMS Notifications page, you can find Email and SMS templates for your Customers and Cleaners.

  • Once you click on a template, there is a section where you can turn on/off your automated text messages and emails to your customers and cleaners. These sections can be found on Appointment Reminder, Appointment Follow-up, Work Order, and Come Back templates

  • Now, to turn it off, click on the “Send...” drop-down button and click on “Never”. This will disable the automated email/text template you're currently on

  • To turn it back on, choose the other options aside from “Never” and click on “Save Changes

Things to note:

  • A few templates will have a checkbox. If the checkbox is enabled, it will give you the option to send them manually on a case-by-case basis.

  • Templates with a checkbox have a unique way to prompt you to send an email/text message or have one sent automatically

  • Note that you have to go to each template to edit their individual settings
