Availability Feature

Summary

With the availability feature, you will be able to:

  • Set and manage availability for each cleaner on your team

  • Easily schedule time off for cleaners, whether it's a full day or specific hours

  • Add notes or comments to time-off entries to provide context or reasons (e.g., vacation, sick leave)

  • Helps ensure accurate scheduling by preventing bookings during unavailable times

  • Streamlines communication and reduces scheduling conflicts within your team


Entering Working Hours

  • Click on the link to navigate to the Availability page.

  • Click on the Edit Working Hours button.

  • This will open a weekly schedule. Here, you're able to set the available working hours for each cleaner by clicking, dragging, and dropping.

  • Once you've set the hours, click on Save Changes. The Cleaner Availability page serves as the central hub where you can manage all cleaners’ working schedules effectively. It provides a comprehensive overview of current schedules, allowing for seamless updates to ensure accurate scheduling.

  • Click on the link to navigate to the Availability page.

  • Click on the Edit Working Hours button.

  • This will open a weekly schedule. Here, you're able to set the available working hours for each cleaner by clicking, dragging, and dropping.

  • Once you've set the hours, click on Save Changes.


Entering Time Off Hours

  • Click on Edit Time Off.

  • Similar to setting working hours, you can drag and drop to select the time off for each cleaner. You'll also be able to see the Available hours you previously selected

  • After setting the time off, click on Save Changes.


Checking the availability on your calendar

  • To view the cleaners' availability in your calendar, navigate to the calendar view.

  • At the top of each day, you'll find a banner displaying the open hours depending on the cleaner's availability

  • If you hover over the banner, you will see a drop-down displaying each cleaner's availability and time off hours

  • You can also schedule an appointment directly from this dropdown by clicking on an available slot for any cleaner


Troubleshooting Availability Issues & Notes

  • If a cleaner remains marked as 'Not Available' after updating their working hours:

  1. Double-check that your updates have been properly saved

  2. Verify that the cleaner's availability settings align with your intended schedule

  3. Revisit their working hours on the Cleaner Availability page and make any necessary adjustments

Notes:

  • Currently, contractors or Cleaners can't update their own availability.

  • Currently, contractors or cleaners can't request time off directly from their account. Everything needs to be manually set up by the Owner of the account.
